I checked in after midnight. Very easy to check in as Nobu had its own check in. The two agents were amazing. They went over all the benefits of Nobu Hotel. They showed me the way to use the elevators. Got to my room and WoW. It was huge and beautiful. Very inviting. Decided to take a shower and then went downstairs to the tables. Ended staying up late into the early morning. Around 8am or so banging and drills were coming from the above room or area. I had a headache and lack of sleep. Decided to wait it out but the noises got worse.Took a shower and decided to call the check in area but I could not hear them due to the drills and construction. I got dressed and headed to the check in. I explained the situation and was told that it was an emergency maintenance thing. After the Agent had contacted a Manager. She agent did apologize. But I was still lacking sleep. I was told it would be a few more minutes before the maintenance was done. I had a bad night with a bad dealer and now lack of sleep. That morning I checked in as a Platinum Salute Total rewards card member. I played at Caesers Palace with no issues. I went to Flamingo and when I showed my card I was given the same number but this time gold. The table games supervisor said I was not platinum anymore. I explained that I was a Veteran and part of the Salute program which always stays Platinum. He said that he does not know about that nor ever heard of it. The dealer took my money when I won bets like 5 times. I was explaining the game and the rules. I went back to my room around 4am. When the above happened. I was in a bad mood, and decided to check out. My whole trip was ruined by what had happened in Flamingo and the emergency construction. She Agent waived the Hotel fees due to what had happened. They could not waived everything due to how the room was booked but I appreciated her help and clear explanation of everything. As I was leaving I had to pay for parking when I notice a man acting weird by the self parking machines. I notice him next to guest he tells them something and they give him a weird look. They leave in an uncomfortable way. Since my card was lowered to Gold I could not benefit from the platinum benefits and I go to pay the $18 . The walk over to the Rewards center was to far to fight over the platinum Salute program benefits that were explained to be. I decided to just pay and go home. I was in bad mood and did not want to end up getting kicked out as I was very annoyed at this point. This suspicious man walks up to me and says hey I will take care of it, he then takes out a Diamond Card out and swipes it. It waives my fees. When I kind of says something smart and asks for a tip for doing that for me. I then realize he had been doing that all morning with guests. I explain I did not have change and he then says nothing rude as says well I have change how much you need? I explain I had no money and was going to pay with a card. He gets angry and say something rude. I get to my car and call Security dispatch and explain the situation with that man. Even though in my situation things went from bad to worse the hotel itself was great. I had stayed in Caesers before, probably the best stay ever. I did not get to enjoy all the nobu stuff but the room and service you got was amazing. I hope to one day come back and no one else ruin my stay .
